Dr. Allison Capps

I am a pelvic floor physical therapist that is passionate about women receiving the appropriate education and medical treatment that they deserve in regards to pelvic floor dysfunction.  I graduated from the East Tennessee State University Physical Therapy Program in 2016. After graduation I worked in private orthopedic clinics in San Diego, CA and also worked in home health with the geriatric population. My husband had a job change which brought us to Charlotte, NC where I gained additional experience in home health pediatrics, and began working with women's health shortly after that. I completed my pelvic floor training through Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. Some of my additional trainings and certifications include: Pregnancy Rehabilitation, Postpartum Rehabilitation, Doula Services and Pelvic Rehab Services, Athletes and Pelvic Rehabilitation, Manual Therapy for the Abdominal Wall, Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Dry Needling Certified through AAOMPT
